stomach's clawing itself
from all of her weeping

bruising inclinations

yeah that's a violin
i'm playing

so piss off

this is my sphere of
non-influence

survival of the meekest

two reasons the elf's here
greed and power

power to hurt the helpless

two reasons i'm here
genes and fear

you don't pick your family

i'm just a topiary son
kept neat and trimmed

water and forget me

he's got what he wanted
pretty and rich mortal wife

someone to use and abuse

he leaves me alone if i
don't try to protect her

puts me in my half-breed place

but i guess i haven't learned
where my place is after all

i've got a plan

a sword forged in shop class
a whole lot of red metal in it

elves and iron don't mix

a day of reckoning's coming when
elf-daddy's going to lose his head

and the not-so-meek shall inherit
