When I told her

            she pointed

and covered me in

a tide of jealous white spiders.

My anger struck her back

with all the mass of the sun.

As I fell

            poisoned,

she lay burned.

Neither of us knew any spells of healing,

            so we did not speak

for the rest of the night.
