Time flows
nothing is what it seems
seeming is believing
so we believe
nothing.

We are African masks
carved on a primeval world
lost on oceans &
continents
drifting.

There is a home out there
either a soft nebula
with our name on it
or a piece
of crumpled aluminum
in an alley.

Picture a hospital
with one giant bed and

a spray of bobbing balloons:

Hearts grow large & small
they pump & pulse
they find themselves
in small cars
driving

to a place
where the big screen
has long since crumbled
to sticks:

Choose any blind moment
cells tumble
traffic jams of raw life
lively, supernatural
rumbling.

A dance of life
the universe and
yesterday's poisons.

There will be a venting
of deep dark stress
a crossing of enzymes
a green light flashing
hope?

a biology for tomorrow
a moment of utter
convergence
a blinding
flash
an illusion of
self turning.
