Night is my house and I am her king. Day's widow submits under my silken wing. Alone in my chambers of mist, she will sing; All fear her shadow, but to me she is evening; Round my finger her soul is wrought like a ring.
Christopher Vera is the author of several books of poetry, most of which are still in his head, and none of which have ever been published. Poetry allows Vera to document his universe: the natural, unnatural and the supernatural. His work has appeared in Ship of Fools, Heliotrope, Apex and Abyss, and the Magee Park Poet's Anthology. He can always be found at www.autumnfactory.com.
